The city of Lucca hosts the eighth edition of the International Freedom Award. This evening in Piazza San Martino concert of  Samuele Bersani, Edoardo Bennato, Mariella Nava and Vincenzo Bocciarelli.

AWARDS
Scientific Research: Father George Coyne - astronomer Jesuit director of the Vatican Observatory .
Journalism: Ettore Mo -  the most famous war correspondents, special envoy of the Corriere della Sera.
Art: Ferdinando Scianna - one of the biggest names in international photography.
Culture: Gabriella Battaini Dragoni - Director General for Education, Culture and Sport of the Council of Europe.
Special  for Freedom: Rebiya Kadeer -  leader of the people Uyughuro.
