dal 3-2-2018 al 1-3-2018
The Ugo Guidi Museum in Forte dei Marmi hosts an exhibition of the Chinese artist Hu Huiming, a photographer and painter, and of the Korean sculptor Park Seungwan from 3 February to March 1, 2018.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on Saturday February 3 at 4:30 pm at the Ugo Guidi Museum (MUG), introduced by Vittorio Guidi and presented by the young artists themselves with a short performance on a Celtic harp by Riccardo Locorotondo at the Ugo Guidi museum and later a mini concert of 20/25 minutes at the Logos Hotel.
The two artists come from the Far East, live and work in Italy, taking inspiration from the country and creating with their art something that produces continuous changes to bear witness to their originality; Hu Huiming's art is expressed in photography, video art, installation and painting that apparently seem to be different, but the focus of his research is something that does not change, doubts about the reality we perceive.
Park Seungwan's sculptures are made with a long preparation, the idea is a coexistance of the past and the future, through the connection of the present. The technique he uses is sculpting by hand and a robot, separating the two different parts with two different colors referring to Yin and Yang, a technological and a classic language.
Hu Huiming was born in Jingdezhen, China in 1990. She graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara, finalist of the Celeste Prize 2014, winner of the Radar Prize in Spain, in 2017 she did solo shows at the Budapest Art Factory in Hungary and in the Javier gallery Roman in Spain, in past years she has exhibited at the Biennial of Florence, Biennial of Salerno, Biennial of Genoa.
