For the second consecutive year, inside the little chaple named after Anna Pardini - the youngest victim of the massacre of August 12, 1944 - the Paesani Group of Sant'Anna di Stazzema has created a beautiful crib rebuilding all the villages that form this graceful village lying on the slopes of Mount Ornato. Mount Gabberi overlooks all the hamlets while the characters of the Nativity scene are intent on traditional activities: There is the church with the bell tower, the hamlets Sennari, I Merli and other places of Sant'Anna di Stazzema. A crib of other times, dense with meaning, which honors the tradition of the Christmas holidays. The patient job of reconstruction of places, that are exactly like the real ones, creates an exciting and evocative result.

The Nativity scene will be inaugurated Sunday, December 3 at 2:30 pm and at 3:00 pm there will be the Mass.
Afterwards, in Piazza Anna Pardini, you can taste necci (chestnut pancakes) with ricotta cheese, roasted chestnuts, mulled wine and panzanelle (fried salty dough) and there will be a typical market with local products and crafts.

During the Christmas holidays there will be other events, in particular on December 24, 2017, Christmas Eve, at 3:00 pm will be celebrated a Holy Mass in the church of Sant'Anna di Stazzema with the participation of the Schola Cantorum of Misericordia di Marina di Pietrasanta, directed by Prof. Stefania Goti and prof. Paolo Magri. For the occasion, hot chocolate and panettone will be offered.
