Villa Argentina, Viareggio's Art Nouveau jewel, hosts every Wednesday afternoon a meeting between writers and readers. The event is promoted by the 'Villa Argentina' Promotion Committee in collaboration with the 'Viareggio Lungomare Bookstore'. At the end, an aperitif will be offered to the participants.
In today's meeting the book "Condannato a vivere" by Arturo Faraoni (Marco Del Bucchia Editore) will be presented.
On a rainy day, Gabriele remembers his past, tormented by visions that lead him to an unreal world ... Winning his fear, in an unreal world forced to live within mental bounderies in a young body, victim of memories he had never lived.
Born in Viareggio, Arturo Faraoni has always lived in Versilia. Since his early childhood he has dedicated himself to theater as author, actor and film director as well as to music as a singer and composer. In fact, one of his songs won one of the first editions of the "Zecchino d'Oro" contest. As a journalist (he has worked in the editorial board of the newspaper "La Nazione") he has produced numerous documentaries dedicated to art on regional television. Painter as well as writer, he has written a novel: "La società" (Viareggio 2001).
The author will participate. Introduction and presentation by Paolo Fornaciari.
Please note that all conferences are in Italian.
