In 14 years of activity, "BAU" the authors' magazine has involved more than 800 authors from all corners of the planet, from Australia to China, from South Africa to Iran. Following his experimental vocation in visual arts and in multiple languages, it envisioned the number 14 of the magazine, entitled "GPS - Global Participation System", as a unique circular number, with original works by more than 70 international participants in A cylindrical casket.
Saturday, July 1, at the Galleria Moderna e Contemporanea "Lorenzo Viani" in Viareggio, is inaugurated the multimedia exhibition "GPS - Global Participation System" which includes, in addition to the works contained in the new issue, a series of original works and installations of authors present in "BAU 14", such as Maicol Borghetti, Manitou Scissors, Mickey Brigade, My Cat Is An Alien and a selection of visual works borrowed from Carlo Palli di Prato Archives with historical artists such as Andy Warhol, Henri Chopin, George Brecht, Ketty La Rocca.
The inauguration of the multimedia exhibition will be followed, starting at 6:15 pm, by the presentation of the magazine "BAU Contenitore di Cultura Contemporanea". Introduced by the Scientific Director of GAMC Alessandra Belluomini Pucci and "BAU"'s editors.
At 19.00 an aperitif on the terrace of GAMC, followed at 21.00 by the concert "Tinnitus Tales delle Forbici di Manitù", featuring the "Deadburger" group.
